Sahih Al-Adhkar is built so that your worship, your health information, and your habits stay yours. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store your personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no data brokers, and no tracking of any kind.
OUR CORE PROMISE
Everything you enter into this app is stored only in your device's local storage. We operate no user accounts, no user profiles, and no personal database. We cannot read your data, we cannot recover it, and we have nothing to hand over to advertisers, data brokers, insurers, employers, or any third party.
WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Your dhikr counts, streaks, lifetime totals, saved duas, tasbih sessions, prayer settings, fasting logs, Ruqyah and Hajj progress, reminder times, theme and display preferences, and any Period Companion entries are saved locally on your device. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
PERIOD AND MENSTRUAL HEALTH DATA
The Period Companion is designed as a private, on-device tool. The dates you log, your cycle history, predictions, and any related notes are stored only in your device's local storage. This health information is never uploaded to a server, never synced to a cloud account, never backed up by us, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising, profiling, research, or any commercial purpose. No one but you, and anyone with physical access to your unlocked device, can see it. If your device is shared, please protect it with a passcode.
HEALTH AND MEDICAL INFORMATION DISCLAIMER
Cycle lengths, period predictions, purity and prayer-resumption guidance, and fasting information are provided for devotional planning and general education only. They are estimates based on the dates you enter. This app is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a contraceptive or fertility method. It must not be used to prevent or achieve pregnancy or to diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health.
COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
This app does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics cookies. It uses your device's local storage only to remember your progress, settings, and preferences so the app works between sessions. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you reset your progress, clear your browser data, or uninstall the app.
LOCATION AND DEVICE SENSORS
The Qibla Finder and prayer times use your device location and motion sensors to calculate the direction of the Ka'bah and the times of prayer. These calculations happen entirely on your device. Your location is never stored on our servers, never logged, and never transmitted to us. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; only location-based features will stop working.
NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS
Adhkar, prayer, suhoor, and iftar reminders are scheduled locally on your device using your device clock. No reminder content, schedule, or delivery data is sent to any server.
NETWORK REQUESTS
The app needs an internet connection to load. A connection is used to load the app itself, to fetch prayer time calculation data where you have enabled it, or to open a link you have tapped. These requests do not carry your personal content, your health data, or your progress.
THIRD PARTIES AND APP STORES
If you install the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores may collect their own download, crash, and device data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We receive no personal data from them beyond anonymous, aggregate install figures.
DELETING YOUR DATA
You are in full control. You can erase everything at any time using Reset all progress in Settings, by clearing your browser site data, or by uninstalling the app. Because we hold nothing, deletion on your device is complete and permanent, and cannot be undone by us.
CHILDREN
This app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal data at all.
YOUR RIGHTS
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, and not to have it sold. Because all of your data remains on your device and we never receive or sell it, you exercise these rights directly and instantly through your own device.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
