Sahih Al-Adhkar is provided free of charge, as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or non-infringement. It is offered as a benefit to the community and is not a substitute for scholarly guidance. For any ruling or religious question, please return to the people of knowledge.
RELIGIOUS CONTENT AND ACCURACY
Every dhikr, dua, and narration in this app is presented with its source so that you can verify it, and weak narrations are marked where identified. Translations and explanations are provided for understanding and are not formal legal rulings or fatwas. Scholars differ on many matters, including those relating to menstruation, purity, prayer, fasting, Ruqyah, and Hajj. Every effort has been made to be accurate; if you find a mistake, please report it and it will be corrected.
HEALTH AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
The Period Companion, Fasting Companion, Ruqyah Companion, and all related guidance are for devotional, educational, and organisational purposes only. They do not provide medical, gynaecological, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, or pharmaceutical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a medical device. Nothing in this app is a contraceptive or fertility method. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, have an eating disorder, take medication, or have any medical or mental health condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before fasting or relying on any information here. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in this app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
PRAYER TIMES, QIBLA AND CALCULATIONS
Prayer times, Hijri dates, Qibla direction, and cycle predictions are produced by astronomical and statistical calculation and depend on your device's clock, location accuracy, sensor calibration, and chosen settings. Magnetic interference, poor GPS signal, and local conventions can affect results. Please verify against your local mosque or a trusted local authority. We accept no liability for missed, early, or late worship arising from reliance on these calculations.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Sahih Al-Adhkar name, logo, branding, domain names, original written commentary, curated content selections and arrangements, translations, artwork, illustrations, photography, colour palettes, typography, iconography, visual themes, user interface designs, layouts, animations, and underlying source code are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Classical Arabic religious texts themselves remain in the public domain; our selection, arrangement, presentation, and commentary do not.
PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED USE
You may use the app personally and freely for your own worship, and you may share links to it. You may not, without our written permission, copy, clone, reproduce, republish, scrape, data-mine, harvest, mirror, frame, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app; create derivative or substantially similar apps, templates, or websites from our designs or code; remove or alter any branding or notices; use our name, logo, or designs in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation; sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the app; or introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the service.
ENFORCEMENT
Unauthorised copying of our designs, content, or code is a violation of these terms and of applicable copyright law. We reserve the right to pursue all available remedies, including DMCA takedown notices to hosting providers, domain registrars, and app stores, platform reports, and legal action.
YOUR DATA AND YOUR CONTENT
Anything you enter, including counts, logs, saved duas, and Period Companion entries, is stored on your device only. You are responsible for that content and for keeping your device secure. We do not review, store, access, or back up it. Clearing your browser data, resetting progress, changing devices, or uninstalling the app will permanently erase it, and we cannot recover it for you.
AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES TO THE APP
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Updates may change how features behave.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND STORES
The app may link to external websites or be distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services, or policies. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, progress, counts, streaks, logs, profits, goodwill, or for any personal injury, health outcome, religious consequence, or decision made in reliance on the app. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the app. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the app or your breach of these terms.
